"Emma
has been going to Miss Reina’s daycare since she was
a year old. She is now 21 months. It makes me feel so good
to drop Emma off somewhere where I know she is loved and
nurtured. Almost every day we pull up to Miss Reina’s
house, Emma claps and says “YAY!” She loves to
go to daycare, partly to see her friends and partly because
she adores Miss Reina. Sometimes we’ll walk in and
Emma will run into Miss Reina’s arms and wave
good-bye to me. I can’t express how happy that makes
both my husband and me. And if you knew Emma, you would
know that she’s very much Mommy’s girl and can
be a bit clingy with me when we’re around other
people, even family members she knows very well! Miss Reina
not only provides Emma with a lot of love, but she also
provides structure, which is important to her father and
me.
Emma has also learned sign language from Miss Reina, and
that has helped her communicate with us better, and
therefore she’s less frustrated when she’s
trying to express herself.
Last, but not least, Miss Reina provides the kids with
“FUN”! I’ll give a great example. One day
my husband had to pick Emma up early to go to a
doctor’s appointment. When he got there and looked
through the window, he could see all of the kids dancing to
music, with Miss Reina in the middle having the most fun!
That is the kind of environment I want my child in –
a place where she can be a kid and have fun. My husband and
I feel so very blessed to have found Miss Reina to care for
our precious little girl."

Carrie, Adam's Mom - 9/14/2004
"My son Adam was at a day care center from 4 months to 13
months of age. At 13 months, the center was pushing him to
move to the next room, regardless of his readiness to move.
He was not ready to go down to one nap a day on a mat on
the floor or to be an independent eater, and I was not
about to push him to be ready. At that time I began looking
for other day care options. I met with Reina and felt
comfortable with her immediately. She was a working mom who
decided to stay at home with her son and run a home daycare
program.
Adam has now been with Reina for almost 6 months and he has
flourished in this time. He loves going to day care every
morning and he is advanced in his speaking and
understanding (according to our doctor), not to mention his
sign language skills. This may be a coincidence with his
being at Reina’s, but I think the individualized
attention that he has received in the loving family
environment has played a big role in his happiness and
intelligence."
